Our Services
For Private Collectors
While many collectors work with advisors on acquiring and selling works of art, hiring a full-time collection manager only makes sense when a collection is large and complex enough to merit this level of investment. However, there are a myriad of critical activities that need to happen on an ongoing basis to properly care for a collection, preserve and grow its value while preventing loss, and intelligently navigate risk.
My experience working in both the commercial art world and ultra-high-net-worth family offices has made it evident that there is distinct value in separating acquisition advisory from collection management and bringing in an expert who is not paid on a commission basis, whose sole obligation is to the collector and whose sole focus is maintaining the value, integrity, and quality of a collection. Professional, thoughtful, and expert collection management should not be an after-thought or secondary service, but rather a central priority for the informed investor and committed cultural steward.
I work closely with each client to understand immediate priorities, persistent pain-points, and long-term goals, evaluating the collection's current status and any management systems that may already be in place. From there, we develop a custom program and/or suite of services that are most relevant to your unique present and future needs.
